What is a lien-secured auto loan, and why does it need a specialized broker?
When someone acquires a vehicle through a savings plan, a lender or a bank, the vehicle is pledged as collateral for the loan.
Argentine regulation requires that vehicle to remain insured for the full term of the loan. The lienholder needs assurance that the vehicle carries valid, adequate coverage at all times, since the vehicle is the collateral backing the loan — which is why it sets up processes to guarantee the collateral stays properly protected. The lienholder — the automaker, the lender or the bank — is the one who sets the terms of that coverage.
Managing that coverage at scale takes experience, structure and a deep understanding of the business. That's exactly what we've been doing at Middle Sea for 30 years.

What do we do for your company?
End-to-end policy administration
We issue, renew, amend and cancel policies in real time. We manage vehicle additions and removals, endorsements and updates to insured values throughout the life of the loan. We also manage decreasing life insurance programs, along with traditional insurance, protection plus, and personal accident programs, among others.
Dedicated service center
We have our own in-house customer service team, trained specifically in insurance for lien-secured loans, savings plans and vehicle financing. We don't outsource. Your end customer always speaks with someone who knows the product.
Claims management
We guide the insured through the entire claims process — filing, follow-up and settlement. We coordinate with insurers to speed up turnaround times and protect the pledged vehicle every step of the way.
Special operations
For high-volume accounts, we have a dedicated special operations team that handles bulk processes, system integrations with the client's platforms, and custom reporting. We build a workflow specific to each business — without disrupting how it runs, and helping it grow.
Reporting and management information
We provide regular reports on policy portfolio status, claims ratios, pending renewals and any other indicator relevant to the client's operation.
